Hägglunds BV206 All-Terrain Vehicle
The Hägglunds BV206 is a highly capable articulated tracked vehicle designed to operate in environments where conventional wheeled vehicles struggle to travel. Originally developed in Sweden by Hägglunds, the BV206 uses a unique twin-body design joined by a flexible steering joint that allows both units to follow the ground independently. Power is delivered through a front-mounted engine that drives four wide rubber tracks. Because the vehicle spreads its weight over a very large surface area, the BV206 produces exceptionally low ground pressure. The articulated chassis also allows the vehicle to climb steep slopes and cross obstacles while maintaining excellent stability and traction.
