SPECIAL BUILDS

The Hägglunds BV206 Special Builds configuration showcases the remarkable adaptability of this proven tracked all-terrain platform, allowing it to be customised for a wide range of specialist operational roles. Thanks to its articulated two-body design and wide rubber tracks, the BV206 can travel across snow, deep mud, sand, marshland, and other low-bearing terrain while maintaining extremely low ground pressure. This unique mobility makes it an ideal base vehicle for organisations that require reliable access to remote or disaster-affected areas where conventional road vehicles cannot operate.

Available with either petrol or diesel engine options, the BV206 special build platform can be tailored to suit different operational environments and fuel logistics. These vehicles are frequently converted into specialist emergency response units, including remote-terrain fire engines, search and rescue vehicles, and fully equipped all-terrain ambulance carriers capable of safely transporting casualties from inaccessible locations.

Other bespoke configurations include communications units, expedition support vehicles, and technical service platforms. Combined with its amphibious capability, rugged construction, and exceptional off-road performance, the Hägglunds BV206 remains one of the most versatile vehicles available for organisations requiring dependable specialist all-terrain transport and emergency response capability in the most challenging environments.
